An Artist Asks: Who am I?
Who am I?
A computer-savvy, 9-to-5 worker
Or an emblematic trooper?
Am I a passing nobody,
A disembodied voice?
I’d see myself a heroine,
Standing tall, refined,
A striking woman, or rather silly,
Known for lasting art.
Who am I?
A lone sad soul without too much
To show? Oversensitive with such
Feeling as to become a quirky,
Somehow delightful fellow.
No one cares really, who I am.
I’m never one for the glitz and glam.
I’m just a person really, just like you.
Just like you, and you, and you.
